The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #39

The Ultimate Rabbit Hole 39

Hello friends! Oreo, Bubbles and I would like to welcome you to another Satur-yay down the Rabbit Hole. Did you have a wonderful week? Mine was so busy, I just don’t know how I ever had the time to go to work!

Today is World Mental Health Day. This year is all about making a mental health promise and the tag line is “my mental health begins with me.” How true is that? This post sums up everything just right.

October 10 is a busy day. Not only is it World Mental Health Day, it’s also National Angel Food Cake Day! Yes, that’s a thing. I’ve actually never made Angel Food Cake, have you? I love the look of this one though, pretty in pink. You’re welcome!

My mum just bought her first bundt tin at the tender age of 72 and now she wants to make up for lost baking time with these 50 Bundt Pan Recipes. I can’t help but notice that there are so many different bundt pan designs and I really want to have them all. I just need to find room to store them first!

I like to eat healthy but I would call salad more an acquaintance than a friend, so if you’re like me, check out these 41 healthy things that are not salad. Winning!

Did you see these pictures of people from around the world next to the amount of food they eat every day? I found the photos to be fascinating and I was left with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for being able to choose what food to eat and that there’s always enough of it.

Despite living a relative stone’s throw from Italy for most of my life, I’ve only been once, and that was when I was living in Australia. I’m desperate to explore more of Italy and see, do and eat all of the things. Tagging along on Beths’ adventures made me even more desperate, as if I needed another 13 reasons to love Italy! Now, pass the Aperol Spritz, please!

While we’re on the subject of travelling, here’s 12 things not to do when you travel.

I can’t justify paying a cleaner now I’m a stay-at-home person but keeping the place show home tidy is not as easy as it looks. I’m going to have to take a leaf out of the book of the people whose homes are always clean. Here’s how they do it.

Did you know it was National Fitness Week? If you don’t have time to get to the gym there are heaps of ways to get fit offline by getting online, and here are four of the best.

Do you have goals? I still haven’t worked out what mine are but that’s mostly because I’m so enjoying what’s happening now. I love the idea of Goal-free Living, it’s like a breath of fresh air!

I discovered the Tutu Project this week and what a treasure it was. It’s a story about love, the way in which from bad things, good things can happen, and of course, a pink tutu. Well worth a watch!

So tell me, what’s on your agenda this weekend? Have you got a Bundt pan? What do you bake in yours? What would be the start attraction on your daily plate? What’s top of your Places-To-Go list? Have you got any tips on how to keep my home tidy? Do you have goals or are you a bit of a goal dodger like me?

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post (if you are not of the link list kind) for the week.  Do try and pop along to say howdee to some of  the other lovely linkers. Link up here, over at Calm to Conniption, A Little Part of the World or My2Morrows. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic!  The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.

Be a smarty and join this linky party!
