In between shuffling my papers at work, the lovely Jane passes me a proverb that was given to her by a student. I love it. “Challenges are what makes life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes meaningful.” Ain’t that the truth! Every day brings it’s own challenges and triumphs and today is no exception.
My first challenge is getting out of bed this morning which proves nigh impossible. I get up to go running but I’m so tired go right back to be again! Staying awake is today’s challenge, but stay awake I do, and I even make it to Basic Training after work. I train twice as hard and have twice as much fun being part of the team. That’s meaningful!
