We had a lot of fun saying goodbye to 2012. So did the other 1 and a half million people by the looks of things. Judging by the crowds, Sydney is the NYE mecca of the world. I don’t think I have ever seen so many people on the city streets, and so many police trying to control them! It was a madhouse.
Far from the madding crowd but close to the action, we hung out with our friends over a few bottles of wine and a very delicious dinner in a lovely Italian restaurant.
We walked off our excesses to McMahons point. eyed up the Harbour Bridge and waited the fun to begin. Talk about the greatest show on earth! It was a firework frenzy and let me tell you, our 2013 really started with a bang!
Did you give 2012 a good send off? However your NYE panned out, I hope your 2013 is like a firework; I hope the colours shine, it goes with a bang, it’s beautiful and that your year really sparkles!
