I promised myself that I’m going to try and get on top of bloggy business and post in a timely fashion so being a woman of my word, here’s an action packed rewind of what went down in May. I know I’m just a few days late! Rome wasn’t built in a day friends…
Making: My own pot stickers. I even got around to sharing the recipe. You’re welcome!
Baking: My mum’s favourite cheesecake – it’s like my mum, the best!

Cooking: This One Pot Paprika Meatballs dish – we’ve been enjoying it at least once a week.
Eating: All the Mickey Mouse shaped food at Disneyland Paris!
Drinking: Coffee with character clouds!

Seeing: Newton Faulkner live in our little town – he’s such a talent!
Reliving: My youth watching Feeder live in London at the iconic venue, Koko in Camden. What a treat!

Watching: The Mindy Project. It’s an oldie but a goodie.
Reading: Hope Street by Mike Gayle. What an absolute cracker!
Remembering: My mum. It’s 4 years since I lost her – where does the time go?

Discovering: Some old family photos and documents that will help my cousin with the family tree.
Travelling: By Eurostar to Paris – such a pleasant (and fast) way to travel!

Staying: At the Newport Bay Club Hotel in Disneyland Paris (if you’re interested, here’s the review.)

Noticing: All the Disney details!
Feeling: Happy. Disneyland (whatever the country) really is my happy place.

Riding: All our favourite rides (all the ones suitable for tiny tots!)
Meeting: Minnie Mouse – life goals!

Loving: My Disney nails!

Liking: The weather – it was very kind to us!
Disliking: The crowds. I dread to think what it’s like on weekends and in peak season.
Marvelling: At the light show and fireworks at DP

Enjoying: A few days in Paris proper after Disneyland.
Finding: Paris to be just as fabulous as we remember it.
Staying: In a typically bijou hotel room at the lovely Une Autre Chambre.

Walking: So many steps – a minimum of 20,000 per day.
Visiting: Some of the best bars in Paris.

Looking: For the best pastries in Paris. Think I found some of them too!
Following: In the footsteps of Emily in Paris on a fabulous self guided tour with Voicemap.

Bringing: Home some fun mememtoes of the holiday with the obligatory Christmas decorations.

Needing: A holiday to get over the holiday. LOL!
Going: Back to work and invigilating for the GCSE exams.
Getting: My hair did.

Linking: Up with Sherry for this month’s In My Kitchen.
Sending: A newsletter. I quite surprised myself.
Trying: To get organised with bloggy business.
Feeling: Grateful.
Looking: Forward to summer (as long as it’s not too hot!)
Now I’ve told you about my May, I’d love to hear about yours. What’s been happening? Tell me everything in the comments.
