Best Treats and Eats at Disneyland Paris

We took one for the team and had such fun rounding up the best treats and eats at Disneyland Paris. Spoiler alert though, no one comes to Disneyland Paris for the food in the parks which is invariably expensive, fast, mass produced and not at all gourmet but that’s not to say it isn’t tasty too!

We loved that our cold drinks and ice creams were served appropriately chilled but we weren’t quite so keen on the hot food that was served lukewarm. One thing to note about a lot of the snack foods is that they are very much pre-prepared and the quality can reflect this.

That said, here’s our picks of and tips for the parks – whether you’re hungry or thirsty, I got you!

Top Tips

  • Download the Disneyland Paris app where you’ll be able to find all your dining options plus menus.
  • Be sure to check opening and closing times of your preferred outlet – they are not all the same.
  • Save a ton of time with click and collect where you can pre-order meals on the day at certain counter service restaurants.
  • If you don’t want to wait in line, avoid peak times like lunch or dinner and especially after parades and/or fireworks.
  • If you want more something substantial at a ‘proper’ restaurant in the parks or one of the hotels, you’ll need to book (up to 2 months) in advance!

Now let’s get stuck into the treats and eats!

Walt Disney Studios Park

Croque McQueen

Laugh ‘n’ Go Food Truck, €8.5

This Cars inspired snack is a twist on a traditional Croque Monsieur using Laughing Cow cheese instead of Gruyere. It’s certainly different!

You’ll find this croque-r at the Laugh ‘n’ Go food truck at World of Pixar in Disneyland Paris. It’s on the way to/from the Cars Road Trip ride.

Disneyland Park

Speciality Hot Dog

Casey’s Corner, €11

Head to Casey’s Corner at the end of Main Street for fast food classics served in an old time baseball themed restaurant.

The Casey’s hot dog is definitely the least photogenic food item on our Disney food adventure but definitely the best value at €11. The toppings are actually underneath the sausage which although isn’t great for the aesthetics, make for a delicious dog!

The meat hot dogs on the menu are made with beef sausages but there are plant based options too. We tried the hot dog with nachos, caramelised onions and barbecue sauce and the one with cheddar sauce, bacon, crispy onions, ketchup and American mustard and both were really delicious. The hot dogs are longer than average and really filling.

If you are happy to grab and go, this is a great snack to take away and eat while you’re watching one of the Main Street parades.

TOP TIP! Check out Liberty Arcade just next to Casey’s Corner, turn left at the exit and follow the cobbled pathway which leads directly to Frontierland. You’ll come out right by The Lucky Nugget Saloon. You’re welcome!

Mickey Mouse pizza

Bella Notte Restaurant, €12

We headed to the Lady and the Tramp themed Bella Notte restaurant for a Mickey Mouse shaped pizza but you can also find them at Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost. Is there such a thing as too much Mickey Mouse shaped food? Wait… Don’t answer that, it’s a rhetorical question.

The theming at Bella Notte is fabulous and there is plenty of seating inside and out. There are two types of Mickey Mouse pizza, four cheese or pepperoni. The pizza is a decent size and can easily be shared between two for a light lunch or dinner. We choose the Pepperoni and opt for a meal deal which offers the pizza, a soft drink and a garlic bread or a salad – it’s great value for €17.

Mickey Mouse ice cream

Various locations, €4.50

Sticking to the theme of Mickey shaped foods, you’ll find this Magnum style ice cream in various outlets in both parks. It’s Disney on a stick!

Jalapenos with Cheddar Cheese

Casa de Coco, €5.50 for 4

Unlike regular jalapeno poppers that are usually filled with a combo of cream cheese and cheddar, the Casa de Coco version are filled exclusively with cheddar making them deliciously cheesy with just a little kick. These were definitely one of our favourite foods in the park and the only one that was actually served piping hot!

If jalapenos aren’t your jam, there’s plenty to choose from on this Tex Mex inspired menu including burritos, fries and onion rings.

Champagne (with souvenir flute)

Champagne Cart (outside Gibson Girl ice cream parlour) €20

The champagne cart usually appears late afternoon/early evening beside The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour. The cart does a roaring trade with these flutes of fizz. What better way to kick start (or should I say fizz start) your night at the park. The flute makes a great souvenir too!

So that’s our pick of the pops at Disneyland Paris. Have you got anything to add to the list? And which of these treats would you most like to try?
