Thermomix Hainanese Chilli Sauce

Thermomix Hainanese Chilli Dip

Some like it hot!This is the perfect accompaniment for my Hainanese chicken!  ChooTheFat says that this will keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge or a few months in the freezer.



100g red chillies, deseeded and halved

20g ginger, peeled

50g garlic

100g white vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 tablespoon sugar


How to

  1. Place chilli, ginger and garlic into TM bowl and blend for 5 seconds on speed 8. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend for 1 minute on speed 6.
  3. Adjust salt and sugar to taste
  4. Serve with Hainanese chicken rice
