So. I’ve been gaining weight like a boy band gains Twitter followers. I have been out of a regular running rhythm and these two factors combined are a surefire recipe for disaster. It’s hard to run when I’m heavy but I know I won’t be lighter unless I run more. It’s Catch 22 in a pair of running shoes.
I’m trying to get back into the groove and on the move. But it’s slow, it’s hard and it certainly ain’t pretty. But every time, I finish a run, however slow or small, I try to remember this. I did it.
