In the last two weeks we’ve said goodbye forever to four people, some family, and some friends who were like family. Death leaves me emotionally empty and all out of words. I wish there was something I could say or do to make it all better, but I can’t.
But you know what? As sad as it has been to say goodbye to those we’ve loved, it’s been such a joy to have said hello. It’s been a privilege to have had these people in our lives. This week, I saw the new movie “And so it goes.” This quote struck a chord and summed it up for me.
