The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #102

URH 72

Hello friends! Welcome to the weekend. If you’re down under, I hope you had an oz-some Australia Day. Hope your day was full of happy and delicious. Ours was totally magic because we spent the night in Agrabah (AKA the Capitol Theatre) with Aladdin. The show was just as sparkly and magic as I remembered, only moreso.

Talking of sparkles and celebrations, sending out virtual cake and heartfelt wishes to our trusty co-pilot Shari who celebrated her birthday yesterday. Birthdays are the best! Is it me or does time fly by faster the older you get? I can hardly believe that this is the last bunny hole adventure for January, wherever does the time go?! Anyway, I’ve got some cracking links to share so let’s jump in, shall we?!

Guess what! It’s National Blueberry Pancake Day! I could totally smash some pancakes for breakfast after my run. If you’re a pancake purist, you’ll love these Blueberry Pancakes Of  Your Dreams. Jamie is a genius, see how he turns a healthy smoothie into Blueberry Blender Pancakes …for realz! I’m also eyeing off these Blueberry Pancake Bites. If you’re looking for a low fat, gluten free, sugar free, vegan pancake, then these Buckwheat Blueberry Pancakes are the perfect pancake for you! If the weather is so hot, you’re nearly melting, why not cool down with this Blueberry Pancake Ice Cream?!

I’m getting stuck into my second list of 101 things to do in 1001 days with gusto and there’s some considerable overlap with these 21 things to do for yourself this year. I do love working my way through a list, especially when it’s as awesome as this one!

This year my goal is to eat better and try to battle the bulge. It’s taken me 5 years to acquire these 20kgs, I really hope it doesn’t take me another 5 to lose them! It’s easy staying on track at home, but eating out can be more of a challenge so I’m loving these 10 easy tips for healthy eating out.

If you’ve ever received a text message from me, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of emojis so I was fascinated to find out which emoji was France’s favourite, and which was most popular around the world. What an eye opener!

I’m on a mission to save more and spend less this year, if you are too, here are 9 ways to get your financial life in order, straight from your phone. It’s app-tastic!

Talking of awesome apps, check out this one that makes it easy for the most amateur photographer to remove unwanted objects from their photos,  Oh, so handy!

We’re already heads down, bums up planning our big trip for 2017 and these 5 things that transformed the way Rachel travels are going to transform the way I travel too!

Now I avoid politics the way I avoid tofu, that is with enthusiasm. However, it’s hard to ignore what’s happening at the White House these days,  but these pictures from women’s marches around the world gives me hope and proper goosebumps. I really believe that together we can make a difference.

And because a rabbit hole adventure is not a rabbit hole adventure without a canine addition, here are 11 bizarre and hilarious facts about dogs.  Just goes to show, you really can learn something new every day!

What are you up to this weekend? What’s on your 2017 agenda? Are you a fan of emojis too? Which is your favourite? Hit me up with your favourite travel tips!

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post (if you are not of the link list kind) for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read. Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say howdee to some of  the other lovely linkers and my awesome co-hosts. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Paula at  The Geeky ShopaholicJess at Confident Life and Shari at Good Food WeekIt doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic!  The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.
