Going, going, gone!

Last night, I had one of those spooky sleeps where you feel like you’re awake, but really you’re not, you’re sleeping. Albeit restlessly! It seems like forever since I got up before 6 in the morning, when in actual fact, it was only just over a week ago! Waking up is hard to do. Especially when a) it’s this early b) it’s cold c) it’s wet and d) it’s dark. I could think of 101 reasons to stay snug in bed, but I have one really good reason to get up, Pump with Kristy!

It’s the best way I know how to kick start my working week! I’ve been so out of the loop lately, that this is the first time I get to try out all the new moves and it’s oh-so-groovy! I’m loving it!

It’s my first day back at work and I start as I mean to go on with the Feeder Program in full throttle. I have a whole heap of Nigella’s Rainy Day Biscuits to share with the hungry hoardes back at the office. Fortunately they don’t judge a book by it’s cover, or more to the point, a biscuit by it’s icing, and before you can say “Hooray for Rainy Days!” the biscuits are going, going, gone! Result!

The day flies by so fast, before I know it, it’s home time! I get busy in the kitchen, preparing dinner for tonight and tomorrow. It’s still cold and wet so tonight we’re warming up from the inside with one of our all-time favourite dinners Toad in the Hole. Jane’s coming over for a girls night in tomorrow, so I get one step ahead and prep the veggies for the Winter Vegetable Pie and throw some pears in the slow cooker. I can’t resist taking the lid off to check on my Blushing Pears and I’m almost intoxicated by the fumes! That’s an X Rated dessert that’s for sure!
