10 of the Best – Marvellous Muffins

It’s been a while between recipe round ups but I’m back with 10 of the best marvellous muffins! Whether you like your muffins sweet or savoury, big or small, whatever you fancy, I’ve got recipe for them all! I think you’ll be a-loving these muffins!

Nigella’s Chocolate Chip Muffins

Double the chocolate and double the yum – these are hands down my favourite muffins. They’re quick, easy and require just a handful of pantry staples. They’re made with oil not butter, so if you substitute your favourite milk alternative and dairy free choc chips, you can easily make these dairy free.

Simone’s Best Ever Muffins

I will be eternally grateful to dear reader Simone for sharing this recipe because these muffins are scrumdiddlyumptious! Blueberries and dark chocolate are the perfect partners in these yummy cafe style muffins although you can use raspberries and white chocolate if that’s more your jam. Sour cream is the hero ingredient in these muffins – they’re big, fat and fluffy!

Lemon and Blueberry Muffins

These lemon and blueberry muffins are also made with sour cream and are marvellously moreish. The combination of the juicy blueberries and zesty lemon is really hard to resist. Best of all, you can whip up a batch of these in mere minutes!

Date and LSA Muffins

Dates give these muffins a subtle sweetness and the LSA (linseed, sunflower seeds and almonds) gives them a nutritional boost. These are a great option for a delicious morning muffin or an on the go snack.

These bite size muffins are super tasty, super easy and super economical because they use the whole fruit, skin and all! These muffins are super easy, freezer friendly, go great in a lunch box and if you haven’t got mandarins, oranges will work just as well.

These muffins are peary delicious and the pear and chocolate work so well together. They’re quick, easy and a great way to bake with some seasonal fruit.

I know these delicious delights are not technically a muffin but they are baked in a muffin tin, they are muffin shaped and they are muffin tasty so I’m including them in this round up. Plus these spag bol muffins get bonus points for being much less messy to eat than spag bol in a bowl!
